The AN/VVR-1 Laser Warning Receiver System (LWRS) provides the
ground combat vehicle crew with a new level of battlefield
awareness and defensive capabilities. The system detects,
recognizes and reports laser threats with precise ±1°
Angle of Arrival (AoA) information, providing valuable time
necessary to maneuver, slew the turret to combat incoming
threats, deploy smoke or initiate other countermeasures.
The AN/VVR-1 LWRS identifies whether your vehicle has been
targeted by a laser Rangefinder, Designator or Beamrider.
Consisting of four sensor units and an interface unit, the LWRS
provides 360° coverage about the vehicle and reports the threats
through existing or stand-alone audio/visual displays.
