The AN/VVR-2 Laser Detecting Set (LDS) detects Rangefinder
(including single-pulse) and Designator threats over a 360° area
of coverage. With clear audible and visual warnings on
customizable commander’s and driver’s displays, you know that you
have been targeted and from which direction the threat is coming.
The AN/VVR-2 LDS is state-of-the-art ground
combat protection. Over 700 units have been fielded on reconnaissance
and Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) Light Armored Vehicles.
