Goodrich is a leader in the development of visible and IR
electromagnetic windows and electro-optical systems for advanced
aerospace platforms. We have built large aperture windows of
sapphire, germanium, fused silica, clear zinc sulfide, BK7, and
other optical glasses. Aperture sizes are in the range of 20 by 15
inches and beyond. The windows are all designed for use in high
quality optical systems and are fabricated to meet stringent
transmitted wavefront and optical transmission values.
Our facility accommodates complete window system and assembly
design, manufacturing, coating, and testing. With over 20,000 window
assemblies produced to date, Goodrich windows meet all requirements
and applications for operation in hostile environments.
