Goodrich's Electro-Optical Systems has over 15 years of
experience using Silicon Carbide (SiC) to cast both complex and
simple shapes for large, lightweight mirrors. Because of its very
favorable thermal properties, we work in many types of SiC
including chemically vapor-deposited, hot pressed, hot
isostatically pressed and reaction bonded SiC.
