Goodrich offers a wide range of space-qualified sensors that
deliver robust performance along with smaller size, lower weight
and power, and higher reliability than the competition. These
products include: earth sensors, such as our Multi-Mission Earth
Horizon Sensor Assembly that provides the reliability, radiation
hardness, and the cost advantages of a static sensor with the added
features of high accuracy and broad acquisition/operating ranges,
with full accuracy; sun sensors with design modules that can be
combined to meet the specific needs of a spacecraft mission; and
star trackers, such as the HD-1003, which is the world's only
Class S Rad-Hard star tracker.
Other products include: the optical system for the Multispectral
Thermal Imager, which has a three-mirror anastigmatic off-axis
telescope, a single cryogenically cooled focal plane assembly, a
mechanical cooler, and an onboard calibration system; sensor
optics for the Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle; and Fine Guidance
Sensors for the Hubble Space Telescope, which provide the
telescope with its high degree of pointing accuracy.
